Barns and yard, hanley, Worcestershire.

Over the last year or two I have seen and heard a fair bit about Barns and Yard in Hanley. All good of course, but up until October of this year I had never had chance to check out what all the fuss was all about for myself.

Ola and Toby were married in the beautiful surroundings of B&Y on a wonderfully Autumnal (otherwise known as ‘changeable’) day and it was perfect.

A very stylish day (check out Ola’s super elegant dress and super sparkly jumpsuit) actually started at Hill House in nearby Upton on Severn… a private house I had actually worked at before for Tarryn and Sebs wedding day, before moving back to Barns and Yard for the rest of the day.

For me, the day was hectic at times and the speeches were probably the hardest I have ever had to try and shoot (different levels and spread out over two different sections of the barn) but all the said, I had a fantastic day.

Thank you so much to O&T for their warm welcome and to the staff and management of Barns and Yard who were fantastic and looked after me wonderfully.

Here are a few of the photos I took on the day, starting with one I have cleverly entitled ‘man in window without trousers’. Thought about that for ages.
