Simon and Harriet, Wedding Photography in Broadway, Worcestershire.
Broadway. It’s a town that is very close to my heart. Many Saturday evenings stopping in at the local chippy with my Dad on our way back from Air Cadet shenanigans at Little Rissington up to the present day with shopping trips with my lovely wife. It is a gorgeous town and I love it.
I’ve shot a few weddings there now (and am always up for more… hint hint!) and have always had a great time. Theres something about those Cotswold stone buildings that is just so wonderfully appealing aesthetically and they really suit a typically English wedding day. One of those amazing buildings is the Lygon Arms… a remarkably historic hotel on the high street and Simon and Harriet were married there in October of this year.
It was a wonderful day to be a part of. The weather just about held out for long enough to take a few shots outside… although typically I did get rather soaked on our walk from the hotel to Lifford Hall for the reception.
I’m really happy with these set of images. I particularly like the shots of S&H in the grounds of the hotel which I hope have a lovely autumnal feel to them (at least thats what I was going for!).
Thank you Simon and Harriet for a great day. Here are a few of your images…
