Michaela and Romain, Craig Y Nos Castle Wedding Photographer.
What a year 2019 has been. I’ve photographed what feels like hundreds of weddings (I really really need a rest…), worked for so many wonderful people and visited some utterly gorgeous venues. Starting with Amit and Jo’s wedding back in February and finishing with Michaela and Romain’s celebration in November it has been an awesome year.
My last wedding of 2019 took place at Craig Y Nos Castle in Brecon, Wales…. a part of the world that is many ways unparalleled in its beauty. Indeed, its a minor miracle that I made it to the venue in time considering how often I found myself slowing down to look at the view as I made my way there!
Anyway, Michaela and Romain’s day was to prove one of my highlights of the year and was the perfect way for me to sign off for a little while. I’m a big fan of Wales (I lived in the valleys for a couple of years and I just love the place) and with so many of Romain’s family visiting from France it made for a thoroughly enjoyable day (educational too…. I learnt a little more French to add to my previously limited vocabulary).
I much give a quick shout out to the staff at Craig Y Nos for the warm welcome (and delicious wedding breakfast) and to Jan Lima who was on floral duty for the day.
And as I always do I want to say a big thank you to M&R for the warm welcome. Not just on the day itself but also when we met up for the first time in Cardiff a couple of weeks beforehand. Thank you for helping me to end my year on such a high. Here are a few of your images!
