Ryan and Jenny, Bewdley, Worcestershire.
I was going to hold fire on sharing this blog for a little while but having drafted it just now I’ve decided I can’t wait so here are a few images I am very proud of…. Jenny and Ryans awesome wedding day in Bewdley.
The day itself was… well… hectic. Four locations, many speeches and a bomb scare. I doubt Hugh Grant could do any better than that.
Bomb scare I hear you say? Well, having married at Ribbesford Church (my favourite church in Worcestershire by the way… love the light inside) we were due to make the very short drive back into Bewdley for the reception at The Bewdley Inn (via Kateshil House for a few photos… told you it was hectic). However, the Bomb Squad had other ideas. Bewdley Bridge was closed to allow them to carry out a controlled explosion on (what turned out to be) a fake hand grenade found in the river. Now don’t get me wrong. I’m all for dealing with these things correctly but it did throw quite a spanner in the works wedding day wise. What should have been a two minute drive ended up in a half hour detour and a very stressed photographer.
But, alls well that ends well as they say. It was such a fantastic day. Great speeches, Irish dancing, sparklers and a wonderful first dance to go with a fantastic bunch of people.
Ryan and Jenny have been great to work for. Two lovely people who (like many others) had to rearrange/revise their original wedding plans and consequently partied accordingly. Thank you for everything R&J!
