Nisha and James, Avoncroft Museum, Worcestershire.
Nisha and James were married back in September at a venue very close to my heart, the Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
Now, why is it special to me I hear none of you cry?… well, I grew up in nearby Rubery and therefore have been visiting the museum on and off for my entire life. That’s no big deal I again hear none of you cry. Well, in addition up until this summer my Mom and Dad lived next door for quite a while. And when I say next door, I mean they could see the windmill from their back garden and the regular summer wartime reenactments were often a source of much amusement as we tried to relax in the back garden on a Sunday afternoon to the sound of canon fire! So, it was great to go back and enjoy a day working in such lovely and memorable surroundings.
I first met Nisha and James about a 100 years ago now… yes, they were one of the many couples that had to rearrange their day cos of you know what. When we met I knew that I would absolutely adore working for them and I was right… they are two really special people. We also managed to nail the confetti shot that was so important to Nisha!
So, here are a few to their photographs from what was a fantastic day at Avoncroft. Many thanks to Amy for looking after me so well, the catering staff for an awesome dinner and last but obviously not least to Nisha and James for being nothing short of utterly wonderful.
Oh, and taking photos in the rain whilst riding backwards on a miniature train is not easy. Not easy at all!
