Lemore Manor Herefordshire Wedding, Vicky and Anthonys lively (very lively) day!

In the time I have been photographing weddings I have been really lucky to have worked at Lemore Manor on many many occasions. From Laura and Tom’s awesome day years back to looking forward to Eilish and Owens day next weekend I have seen this beautiful venue evolve into the fantastic location it is today.
Obviously if I wrote a blog post about every wedding I have shot here my website would look very much like an advert for Lemore Manor (nothing wrong with that of course… it’s ace and I love Margaret and Ben) so I haven’t done so recently. However, Vicky and Anthony’s day was both extremely lively and somewhat different from other recent weddings that I just have to share it here.
So what made it so different to other recent Lemore weddings I have photographed? Well for one, Vicky and Anthony actually got married at St. Marys in nearby Almeley. A beautiful little Herefordshire village with very little parking (pro tip…. ask the local farmer to open his field… super helpful).
Furthermore, it was super windy. And I mean windy. So much so that I think Jag (from Story Cabin Films) and myself took the brunt of the confetti rather than Vicky and Anthony as they left the church. I love the confetti shots from this wedding so can only begin to imagine how cool the video will look!
And the reception back at Lemore Manor was also rather enjoyable to. Great guests (I was made to feel SOOOOOOO welcome) who really joined in with the spirit of the weekend, coupled with superb entertainment by Howard Wing (check him out if you are after wedding entertainment / an M.C. … he was fantastic) made for a really enjoyable working day for little old me.
But more than anything, working for Vicky and Anthony (and Scout) wa a truly wonderful experience. Remarkably easy going people who were a real pleasure to spend time with, both before and during the wedding. Thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your day.

Tabitha Maccurrach Paine weaving her magic on hair (this is going to sound like the bit at the end of a rock concert when the band is introduced to the crowd. Sorry). Elle Rogan on Make Up.
