Curradine Barns in Worcestershire is without doubt one of my very favourite local wedding venues. There are many reasons for this...great staff, a lovely location name but two... but chief amongst them for me is the quality of food they serve!

Sadly, I don't get to shoot there all that often (probably good for my waist line) but when I do it is always a real treat (and not just because of the wedding breakfasts!). David and Paula were married there in early June this year and what a fantastic day it was. In addition to the great venue, great food and really great people we were treated to wall to wall sunshine. Pretty much all of the weddings I have shot at Curradine Barns have been winter weddings which, whilst lovely, it does mean that the outside spaces don't get utilised as much as they do during the summer. However, the amazing weather we have been having so far this year meant we didn't need to worry about staying inside at all.

This wedding will go down as a highlight of my year for sure.... the perfect weather, wonderful location and amazing people (David and Paula were just fantastic to work for) really made my day so much fun. It also didn't hurt that a number of my favourite wedding suppliers were in attendance. Michelle G was doing her thing on Make Up, Valerie was on Hair and the Little Pink Wedding Shop on Flowers and cake were a great team.
