Weddings at Curradine Barns, Worcestershire.
In these quite remarkable times we are all having to adjust to a new way of living. Isolation, Lockdown, Social Distancing or Quarantine… they are all words we’ve heard before but never imagined they would apply to our lives so completely, changing our personal and professional lives greatly.
One (admittedly rather inconsequential) thing I am having to address is producing content for my blog. I have a couple of weddings from the last year or two in the chamber but if I can’t go to work and I can’t leave the house the options for new imagery are somewhat limited (there are only so many times I can photograph our cat Daisy before she starts to get more than a little annoyed!)
So, with that in mind here is the first of hopefully a few posts about some of my favourite wedding venues… starting at one of the most local to me…. Curradine Barns in Shrawley, Worcestershire. Last year I visited three times to shoot Lauren and Andrew, Becky and Dan and Kirsty and Iains big days and each time was an absolute joy.
When asked about Curradine Barns in addition to the obvious (its a beautiful and very well maintained venue) I always wax lyrical about the food. It is sooooo good. And by good I mean GOOD! I don’t know what kind of mysterious alchemy they use in the kitchen but whatever it is I want some of it.
So, if you are looking for a wedding venue in Worcestershire with plenty of space (both indoors and out), wonderfully friendly and experienced staff and amazing food then do check out Curradine.
Here are a few images (some I have shared before, some I haven’t) from my visits last year (shout out to my friend Helena Shakespeare who makes one or two appearances here!)
