Wedding Photography in Worcestershire. Liz and Rup's REALLY special day.
What a wedding day this was!! Both Libby (videographer) and myself left Liz and Rup's Worcestershire Wedding at the end of a very long day with the biggest smiles on our faces you could imagine.
The day started at No.115 Hair Lounge where I met with Liz and her Bridesmaids for a few Bridal prep shots before moving onto St. Georges in Kidderminster to meet up with Rup. I have driven past St. Georges countless times now as it is my local church, but this was the first time I had been inside.. and what a wonderful church is was... light and airy (which was a godsend considering the weather on the day... yes, it was rainy and dark again) with loads of room to move about a bit.
Once married, Liz and Rup made their way over to Alcott Weddings to celebrate. Sadly it was still chucking it down so we didn't get much opportunity to get outside and enjoy the lovely surroundings for a good part of the day. However, as these things have a way of doing, after the speeches were done and we had shot a few formal group photos in the Marquee, the rain stopped and we were able to get outside to enjoy some magnificent Worcestershire light!
And then, if the miraculous change in the weather wasn't enough, Liz and Rup surprised their guests with an hour or so of the most amazing Indian drumming from the fellas at Modus. I really can't tell you just how good these guys were. Not only didn't they play 'solo', but they also played along with the music being played by the DJ... it was nothing short of sensational and left us with the most amazing buzz when we left.
I should give another shout out to Libby Blunt. It was lovely seeing and working with her again. Sometimes Photographers and Videographers can get in one anothers way, but working with Libby is delight. Please do check out her work if you are looking for a videographer.
Thank you so much to Liz and Rup. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know them over the past few months. You would be hard pressed to find a more lovely couple. Here are a few of their images:
