Alice and Chris. Wedding Photography in Warwick.
I’ve photographed a number of weddings at the Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick over the years. It’s one of those venues that is simply brimming with character…. you can practically smell the history. Also, there isn’t a straight line in the whole place and (believe it or not) ceilings so low that even I have bashed my head there on more than the odd occasion.
Head injuries aside, it is a wonderful place to work and Alice and Chris’ wedding back in July was no exception. A beautiful wedding with four seasons in one day (leading to a somewhat embarrassing episode involving rain, an overgrown hedgerow and subsequent appearance of an ‘accident’). Alice and Chris were formally (legally) married in a ceremony within the Hospital before moving next door to the adjoining Chapel for a beautiful blessing. It was perfect.
After dodging thunder, lighting and the aforementioned showers the evening finished (for me at least) with the perfect first dance. I had set up my lighting and was ready to go when right at the last minute the Sun made a blazing appearance through one of the windows in the main hall. This was a bit of technical challenge for me but all’s well that ends well and it made for some beautiful imagery.
Thank you for everything Alice and Chris… here are a few of your wedding photographs….
