Wedding Photography in the Cotswolds. Melissa and Davids Winter Wedding day.

Just before Christmas, I made the short journey over to the Cotswolds to Photograph Melissa and Davids Winter Wedding in Moreton In Marsh.

Their wedding ceremony took place at St. Davids Church in the town, before moving on to the Manor House Hotel to celebrate. 

We day kicked off the day at Melissa's family home in Long Marston, were it was lovely to see my friend Gemma Clarke and her colleague who were on Hair and Make Up duty. A lovely relaxed morning was topped of wonderfully by Melissa's niece commandeering her shoes for a stroll around the living room!

One of the highlights for me when photographing this wedding was the inclusion of a beautiful deep red within the colours for the day. The Bridesmaids dresses were stunning.... adding a lovely splash of brightness to what was something of a dull day weather wise.

Winter Weddings present different challenges for Photographers compared to those in peak season.

But I must say thank you to David and Melissa, together with their family and friends for giving me the time I needed to get the formalities that they wanted from me, done. I had a lovely day and enjoyed staying a fair bit later than the first dance just because I wanted to.
