It's very nearly time for my 2018 wedding season to kick off, and after a little bit of a break to recharge, decorate the house and to go to Vegas I am raring to go (jet lag aside).

With that in mind, I wanted to get back into the swing of things by posting a blog from one of my favourite weddings of last year, Rachel and Joels day at the Old Vicarage Hotel in Worfield, Shropshire.

First Look Wedding Photographs

Rachel and Joel flew back to the UK from their home in the United States in order to celebrate with their family and friends. One of the many aspects of their wedding that I really enjoyed was the 'First Look' that they wanted to do before their wedding ceremony. It's quite a thing over in the States but no so much here... and it was definitely a first for me.

One of the benefits of the first look that hadn't occurred to me before the wedding was that we could get the family photographs done and out of the way before the ceremony... giving more time for fun and drinking afterwards.... a win win as far as I am concerned!

Working for Rachel and Joel was simply a joy. They were both wonderfully easy going and their day was super relaxed. Furthermore, their family and friends (many of whom had flown over from the States) were great fun to be around.

It's been great to look back at this wonderful day and I'm really looking forward to many more over the next few jam packed months!
