My first wedding of 2019 was definitely one full of firsts…. first wedding of the year, first time shooting a wedding at Mythe Barn in Leicestershire, first time using my new cameras at a wedding and first time I’ve seen (let alone photographed) a Triumph GT6 mk2.

Jo and Amit were married on a gorgeous winters day at this beautiful venue and what a day it was. J&A first met me a year or so ago at a local wedding fair. Now, I don’t really do wedding fairs (they can be quite soul destroying to be honest) but this one popped up and I had nothing better to do, so I went along… and I’m so glad I did!

How did I do with my new cameras….? Well, I’m super pleased with the photographs and furthermore, it certainly feels like all of the issues I had with my D750 have been addressed…. so I’m a happy chap … for now!

Thank you to J&A, their friends and family and all the staff at Mythe Barn… I had a wonderful day and it was the perfect start to my working year.
