Mill Barns, Shropshire.

There’s a well known wedding venue about 5 minutes from my house. It’s been there a while now and up until a few weeks ago, I had never visited. It’s name is Mill Barns in Alveley, Shropshire.

Jules and Mitch were married at Mill Barns in the middle of July on what was a perfect day. Beautiful weather (I know a lot of people are moaning about our summer but I’m loving it), fantastic people, a super creative wedding ceremony and yes, a stunning venue.

When I say I had never been to Mill Barns before that isn’t strictly true. It used to be a hotel and restaurant a few years back and my wife and I have fond memories of getting stuck there one bank holiday evening as Taxis wouldn’t come out to pick us up which wasn’t fun (the meal was lovely though).

What was fun was Jules and Mitch’s wedding day. Indeed, it has been a real pleasure spending time with them both over the last few months. They are special people.

Massive thanks to everyone present and to the staff at Mill Barns for looking after me so well. I will be back there in 2023 and hopefully beyond. Was also lovely to see Stuart from skies are blue again after such a long time. A great videographer should you be on the look out for one.

Oh, and I did manage to get home without incident on this visit!
