Leah and Ben, Wedding First Look...

I photographed my last wedding of a very busy 2016 season yesterday (I have more to do this year, but now things become a little less hectic for a short while... which is very welcome!). Leah and Ben were married at beautiful Eckington Manor in Worcestershire, before moving off to various other venues in the county to celebrate, including The Jockey Inn (more to say about them soon) and The Crown at Hallow.

I haven't put together many (or any!) of these 'First Look' posts this year, mainly because it adds yet another thing to do in an already crammed calendar. However, as this was my last wedding for a month or two and Leah and Ben will have to wait a little while for their photographs, I thought I would do so.

Leah and Ben were so lovely to work for. As I noted in a previous post from the 'Pre Wedding' shoot they are two of the most relaxed and friendly people I have met in a long time. I LOVED spending the day with them both yesterday (even considering Leah's family football team allegiances... the less said about that the better). Thank you so much for ending my 'year' on a high guys!

Here are a few images from a really lovely day. Lots more to come in a full blog post in a few weeks time...

Every now and again the British weather is not actually that dreary and miserable. Whilst shooting the Bridal Prep yesterday a beautiful beam of light came through the window and lit up Leah's face and nothing and no one else in the room. Love this …

Not a bad view for a wedding ceremony eh!

There were a lot of tears during what was a really lovely, intimate ceremony at Eckington Manor.

The grounds of the Crown Inn (Leah and Ben's reception venue) are a little limited in terms of photo opportunities. So the three of us jumped into my Mini and popped round the corner to shoot a few frames in a nearby country lane. The light was gorgeous, the setting perfect and honking of horns from passing farmers very amusing!

Leah and Ben celebrated with family and friends in the Tipi at the Crown Inn in Hallow, Worcestershire. Ben Stancombe provided some wonderful musical entertainment.
