Christmas and New Year seem a hundred years ago now right? For me, Christmas was something of a blur… three weddings, four motorways and a turkey was the story of my ‘break’ (and by break I mean not a break).

My penultimate wedding of 2024 took place just before Christmas at Hampton Manor in Solihull and it was an EPIC day.

And unlike some, I do not use bold all caps lightly…

I tend to get time during a wedding day to collect my thoughts, to try to organise myself as the day progresses and to generally figure out what on earth I am doing. This was not the case in this, err… case. From the minute I started work in the morning, to my clocking off well into the evening it was full on fast and furious type action.

Emily and Zach put a huge amount of effort into planning their day. From the preperations in the morning, through their blessing ceremony (which included the Christmas Song … “let It Snow” from the Christmas Movie Die Hard 2 (yes, it is a Christmas Movie unlike the first one WHICH ISN”T)) to the amazing musical and magical entertainment, it was just fantastic. I was a wreck by the end of the day but I thoroughly, totally and 100% enjoyed myself.
