WAY back in September (time is flying and I can't believe it is Halloween already) I took the short drive to a lovely local wedding venue in Worcestershire - Brockencote Hall, to photograph Amy and Dieter's special day.

I have written about Brockencote many times so I won't do the same again, suffice to say it continues to be one of my favourite places in Worcestershire to work. In addition to some familiar faces, I did meet up with a couple of local suppliers that I hadn't had the pleasure of working with before. Elizabeth from Elegant Bakes created a beautiful cake which totally lived up to her businesses name, and Samantha from Lips and Lashes took wonderful care of Amy and her Bridesmaids.

And as for Amy and Dieter, they have been an absolute delight to work for. In the run up to the wedding we met up for a pre-wedding shoot and were very understanding when my car broke down in the car park when we met up (a frighteningly expensive repair was fortunately avoided), and then gave me whatever time I asked for on their day. Also (and this is really key to the way I like to work), they didn't react to me hovering around them with a camera all day.... wonderful!!
